DELAYED YET AGAIN!

My long awaited car is further delayed.
There have been issues with delivery, but the sad part was that the lower rung sales people were not even bothered and did not have the remorse to accept it!
The top bras were upset because of the behavior of the lower rung. I do not want to add more since I have been promised that it would be looked into and was offered an apology and compensation (which is to be finalized at the top level hopefully soon)
Hope I will be able to drive my long pending car at least by next weekend.

Finally???

Its been a wait for me to get my new car(Indica). Finally it has come and will be finalizing it today.

I would have been really happy if discount was given, but it being a new car and since I was given a special preference I was denied one.
As said earlier, will give my honest and unbiased opinion about the car after I have driven it.
Since it is diesel, I will be forced to drive it around and so will be able to write about the car from an owners perspective. Prospective owners can wait if you want.

You Reap What You Sow

I have been following the market regularly of late.
Recently a leading private bank had filled a complaint stating that people were joining together to make malign it!!!
I want to know who will not join together, when you send in thugs to get back money (after giving cards and loans even without the person asking)and in the process humiliating the person and also causing deaths.
Probably this is what Thiruvalluvar had also foreseen? Hope the bank starts learning a lesson at least from now.

Global Meltdown

I always used to fight with my family for forcing me into medicine since the other side was very green (IT).
However now that there is a global meltdown and when I see my patients in IT stressed out and struggling to cope with the new way of life (cut down in perks, cab etc.,), I thanked my family after nearly 10 years!
If you all have a different view send me your thoughts.

Indica Vista

After a very very long time, I have decided to go in for a new car. I did not want a midsize car in view of Banalore traffic and so decided on a Hatchback. Was not very happy with Swift in view of the pricing and comfort. Did a test drive of Indica Vista and it was love at first sight. reviews were awesome about the car except for the tag Taxi Car!!!
Even my colleagues were against it. Since I knew lot of people in TATA, I was assured about the performance.
In view of the bad reviews with regard to Indica V2, I was skeptical.
But I was informed that this car is free of problems and being a doctor at a reputed hospital, I was given promises and also priority booking.
Will be taking delivery next week.
In my personal opinion, I believe Indica is far far better than swift and also it is very good value for money. (Rs.5.7L only for a fully loaded diesel!!!!).
Though I drive hardly 200 KM/month, I believe the difference was not much between the middle version of Swift and Vista.
Will update on my experience and suggest potential buyers after getting hold of the car, driving it and after experiencing the service and customer care.
As of now my vote is for Vista against all odds and laughs and what not of my colleagues and well wishers. (TATA hope you do not let me down)
